Biden's swine flu comment

I expected to see Biden's comment about swine flu ridiculed on this website, before I remembered that he isn't a Republican.

Gee, I clicked on this looking forward to ridiculing Biden but all it turned out to be was another swipe at liberals. If you're truly interested in ridiculing Biden, you need to make the posts about him and not aboutyou and your perpetual disappointment with Democrats.

It has been ridiculed, just not in its own thread. But, frankly, "Biden made a gaffe" is not much of a story is it?

Biden shot off his mouth. I'm a liberal and have no desire to try to deny it. We chuckle at Biden as much as Republicans do. Let's all pull for Obama to stay healthy.

But since the OP clearly was looking for a fight, I'll add that if Biden were to become President, I think he would become more careful, whereas I doubt Cheney would have become less evil.

Actually I didn't realize he would be like this but I'm not an insider in politics. I guess I'd heard a few speeches and knew a couple of his positions and I liked him overall. But I didn't know he would come off like such a doofus. Please tell me he's really deeper than he sounds so I can worry less about Obama being assassinated.

Clearly you did not search the forum, or you would know that Biden has been picked on for his quote-worthiness. For example, see "Biden's Latest Foot in Mouth".

This whining about the forum being full of Democrats is growing tiresome. It happens all too often. If you have a point to make and someone hasn't done it for you, then just post. But don't complain about how there aren't any Republicans around . There are so many whiners just like you that there must be plenty of Republicans on hand. Or maybe you think that parents are a special interest of the Democratic Party.

Here's as odd thought: Lots of people were on the same wavelength as Biden, but the reaction to his blabbermouthful has probably been the most effective way to convince them they were over-reacting. I'm not claiming it was a set-up, but maybe his big mouth has some useful results.

Interesting that a lot of people think he's just telling the truth (see today's letters in the Washington Post). But of course the truth must be suppressed.
