Dog sit swap for thunder phobic dogs?

I have a wonderful chow/bearded collie mix who is ten years old, sweet, gentle and very afraid of thunder storms. He requires vigilant attention to weather predictions and precise medication schedules on days when thunder is predicted, so he is very high maintenance during thunder season. I prefer swapping dogs when I am out of town over paying for a dogsitter (kennels are not an option for my dog). I am looking to explore the possibility of swapping dogs with very responsible, attentive dog owners whose dogs also suffer from thunder phobia and require medication. I live in Palisades DC (MacArthur Blvd near Chain Bridge).

I live in MC so I don't think we'd be a good match but I also have a super thunder phobic dog and I have a great dog sitter who will stay at your house if you are interested. If she has to leave she'll take your dog with you. She has experience working in a vets office in Potomac. She does all of our dog sitting for vacations and holidays.
