Infertility Support and Discussion
| I am thinking about signing up for shared risk thru GW. While going through the contract I read that I would have to pay $1000 per each ET and $2200 per each retrieval for "facility costs" plus $300 for anesthesia. So that's $3500 per round in addition to the $20,000 for shared risk! Does anyone know if SG also has those "facility costs" or other fees for each round if you are doing shared risk? Thanks!!! |

Shady Grove doesn't charge these fees. We only paid for medications after we paid the shared risk fee.
Here is a link to more info: http://www.shadygrovefertility.com/shared_risk I highly recommend calling their Shared Risk Patient Liaison, she answered every question I could think of and even gave me information I would have never thought about asking about. She won't bug you at all, if you decide Shared Risk isn't for you. Honestly, I think their program is absolutely the best. I looked into several other programs and found that many had some sort of "catch"-- extra fees, a pregnancy is consider success, not a live baby, etc. Good luck, it worked for us! |
| OP here, thanks for answering this question so quickly. We were hoping to stick with GW, but $3500K in fees PER ROUND can really add up. Oh well... |
