I'm making pie crusts tonight, and baking the pies tomorrow. DH will be making the cranberry sauce and prepping the stuffing and turkey tomorrow. He's cooking the turkey abd stuffing, and making gravy on Thursday.

We're traveling to visit my parents, and these are our contributions.

For those making the pies ahead: do you put them in the frig until tomorrow?
This is for apple and pumpkin, BTW.

I have already made the stuffing (very specific version my family eats, which can be made ahead then frozen easily, which I recognize isn't the case for most stuffing recipes), cranberry sauce, gravy, pie crust, and a few baked goods for dessert. Tonight I will make the pumpkin pie after dinner.
Tomorrow I will cook the turkey, bake stuffing, make a sweet potato/apple casserole, green beans, and heat up the gravy and corn.

Monday night - dried out the bread for the stuffing

Tuesday - made the herb butter for the stuffing, made the mashed potatoes, roasted the sweet potatoes for the casserole, made the herb butter for the green beans, blanched the green beans

Wednesday - made the cranberry sauce, made two pies

Thursday - will finish the stuffing (takes about 15 minutes) and the sweet potato casserole (need to assemble and bake). My husband will make the turkey and gravy.

I'm thinking I should bake the cookies tonight. Hmmm.
