Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for good summer camps in NW D.C. for our 4 year old? Thanks! |
Most camps are full-- as people sign up in January. You might try Temple Sinai in on Military Road (my son went there and loved it) but it's probably full. Good luck. |
CASA at Sheridan has a great program too, but they usually sell out. Might be worth a phone call though. |
French Maternal School in Georgetown has a French immersion camp for pre-K - K. I heard good things about it. |
Try St. Patrick's and Beauvoir--also I believe Headfirst does a junior camp at STA-- |
If they have room, St. Columba's summer camp is wonderful!! My kids are older now, but they had a ball there. |
CommuniKids in Tenleytown has space in their Spanish immersion camp for 3-5 year olds. www.communikids.com
|
Junior Explorers at Sidwell Friends School DC Campus - my kids both did it and loved it. |
Tenley Circle Camp has openings-located at Wisc. Ave. Baptist Church. www.city-gate.org |
Camp Horizons at NPS might still have openings - my 4yo went last summer and LOVED it. |
I take my kids for several weeks to Bach To Rock's summer classes, its a music camp and they love it. |
Thank you to everyone for the tips, but what are "NPS" and "STA"? |
NPS is National Presbyterian School (right by AU Circle) |
STA - St. Albans |
St. Columba's is full, and I really did NOT like Beauvoir last year. I hear GREAT things about St. Pat's and NPS. |
