My brother says my SIL is a big returner.
I am OK with this. She has great style and is a determined person. I try to get her things from a store she likes with a gift receipt. I was running behind of a b-day and sent an e-gift certificate from a store I know she likes. I did this, in large part, due to timing. E-cards get there in 2 hours. Is it impolite? She really likes to shop, and I am tired of shipping scarves when she could use the shipping fees towards a better gift. |
No, this is fine. |
I hope not. These are my saving grace with long distance family members. |
That is a great idea. Absolutely fine. |
Why is it rude? My cousin gave us a gift card to Macy's for our wedding, which I later used to help buy a couch. It was awesome. |
Just make sure she gets it -- I would call and let her know it's coming and to look for it. My mom sent an Amazon e-gc that got stuck in spam.
The call also makes it a teeny bit more personal. |
