There are some very very passionate anti-CC posters on DCUM. I am so curious to know if they are local or not. Could you provide any insight?

First let me say that if there was ever an issue where being local didn't matter, it is common core given it is supposed to be a national standard. That said, the OP of that thread does not appear to be local. However, one of the most vocal opponents of common core is local and most of the posters in that thread also appear to be.
