| I have a non-IT degree but I am interested in getting into the industry. I am currently working on my certifications but was wondering if there were any jobs that would hire & train a newbie like me? Any companies in the area? |

| Get your certification and start at entry level. Most entry level jobs are expected to have some on the job training. |

What type of IT? Web design work? Programming? Developing? Sys admin?
Interning might be a better fit. DH owns an IT company (development and web design) and has had interns who gained a ton of experience. |
