Anyone familiar with Differential Ability Scale (DAS)?

Has your child had it done. It's listed as an approved test. Is it an IQ test? What is the necessary score on it for AAP consideration? Anyone know?

I know it is an IQ test but have no knowledge of its use for AAP eligibility purposes.

I heard it's longer and harder (as in more draining due to more subparts) than WISC. That's all I know. It's approved by FCPS but don't know how it's scored or what is AAP acceptable. Sorry!

It is broken up into three clusters- verbal, nonverbal, and spatial. The WISC V just separated its performance section into two separate sections because block building and matrices test two separate areas. It is not harder than the WISCV in fact it will give slightly higher scores because it was normed several years ago.

Do you know what is considered AAP on it? Is it scored like WISC? 132 and up tends to be top 2%?

DAS-2 has same mean (100) and Standard Deviation (15) as WISC. standard Score of 130 is 98th percentile rank.
