It's time to upgrade/update my range and microwave. I have a Maytag Gemini now (a pretty old one) and I love the double oven feature. I'm looking to get five burners this time.
I see GE has one but I am wary of their quality. Two others I'm considering are an LG and a KitchenAid. Any feedback on these? Does anyone actually use the griddle they come with? |
| OP again. I should add that my budget for the range is around $2K. Entire thing with microwave and install around $3K. |

We have this one and we love it. http://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/FGGF304DPF.html
I use the griddle a couple times a year. |

Sorry. I didn't read this before posting the link above. |

You can get the freestanding version of the ge with 5 burners and double oven plus the microwave for under your budget:
PGB960SEJSS Matching microwave: JVM 7195 or 9195. Under budget for sure. |
| PP here: you can possibly get the freestanding version installed as well, if you call around local dealers. The main difference is the built in look of the slide in vs the rear digital control of the freestanding. |
| I love my ge dual fuel 30" range but it's higher than you budget. |
