Howard County Schools

| Does anyone have experience with the Howard County schools? My husband and I are looking to move to that county but haven't heard much about their schools. Any info would be great. TIA |

excellent school system, particularly successful with inclusion classes
Western part of the county is affluent, and the schools reflect that. |

| Overall excellent. Has some pockets of "problems," mostly within "old" Columbia. Some parts of North Laurel are particularly bad, too, like Whisky Bottom. As PP said, if you are West of 29, there is no problem at all. You have to do a little more research if you are looking on the other side. |
