Christmas Week Getaway - Greenbrier or Kingsmill

| We are looking for a brief getaway after Christmas with two kids, 5 and 8. Any thoughts on which of these resorts are the better option? Anyone aware of less expensive options (less going on would be fine)? |

| Would pick the Homestead (or visit it from Greenbrier) they have a little ski slope and there's the Jefferson Pools. You could also get a cabin or house nearby and just drop in to do acitivites during the day. Kingsmill has a nice indoor pool and sometimes the weather is not too bad in Willamsburg in winter. We took a 3 day trip there on a sunny weekend in January and were able to bundle up and enjoy all the historic stuff outdoors. |

| 2nd Homestead - lots of kids activities. Youl have to dress up for the restaurant though. |
