When you and your spouse attend different churches...

How do you handle the offering? Do you each give as much as you would if you were giving to the same church?

That's a good question. I suppose we would split the weekly offering.

My DH and I attend different churches, different religions. We each have our own money, we split household bills usually readjusting percentages when needed. Giving to church isn't a household expense, i give out of my spending money. Same for him.

I will note, we don't particularly like each other's religion so this topic isn't discussed much between us.

I'm curious what religions? We don't really like each others either, which is why we haven't discussed it.

But we don't have our own money, which I think makes it more of a problem.
