Which brand do you prefer and is more reliable? Samsung or LG?

Trying to decide which brand to go with for a new washer and dryer…. talking about that, any specific models you suggest?

I would never buy either after my experience trying to get service on a Samsung dishwasher. Just my two cents, though. I know both brands are well-regarded.

I just got the LG steam washer and dryer. So far very happy with them.

Samsung does not have a good reputation when it comes to reliability. Personally, I prefer Whirlpool or Maytag (which is owned by Whirlpool).

I would not buy either of these brands. Whirlpool has great reliability rankings and reliability is extremely important to me. I do not have time to wait around for repair people, so I want my appliances to keep working for a long time.

I've been told it's hard to get Samsung parts. I don't know about LG.
