Bachelor party in Cancun. Should I be worried?

Anonymous
My husband of 6 years is off to his little brothers bachelor party in Cancun. About 8-10 guys went with only 2-4 married or soon to be married. Truthfully, do men cheat on these types of trips? I can't imagine that he wouldn't. As background, we have 2 small children and our sex life is definitely lacking,

Maybe he might have a little extra fun if he gets drunk, but I doubt he will do anything seriously crazy with someone in front of a bunch of people he knows he has a wife and 2 small kids at home. That would be one way to turn a festive occasion into a really awkward one.

What will worrying do? Nothing.

I don't know, I've been to Cajun multiple times, bachelor parties included, I never even saw strip clubs anywhere there. I have never seen the opportunity there for anything like that. It's very different than the US.

Address your sex life.

The day after a hot bang say something like, "Have fun in Cancun, but please don't do anything that would hurt me and our marriage. I love you."

Yep. In my group of friends, for a married guy to do something like that (or at least to do so in a way that people found out) would be awkward and embarrassing.

It's not such a bad idea. True, I'd feel the same... but I'd appreciate the sentiment.

Don't lose sleep over it. What happens in Cancun stays in Cancun.

If he is the cheating type he doesn't need to be in Cancun to cheat.

But address the sexlife issue for that reason. If he isnt sexually satisfied he will be very very tempted

FTR, I'm a DH. It's not transparent and manipulative if your effort is genuine. There are many reasons to get intimacy and passion back on track.

If he were going to DC, I'd be more worried.

All you can do is give him the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise, why marry him?

Also, he doesn't have to be at a bachelor's party to cheat.

What do you define as cheating? Going to a strip club? Lap dance? Massage parlor hj? Flirting with other women?
