Can anyone recommend a place? We enjoy all types of food. TIA

Sushi-Ko: once of the best (and oldest) sushi/Japanese restaurants in town.

Surfside: new, casual, fish and sandwiches. Very popular with everyone ranging from families to twenty-somethings who like the roof deck. Great food for the price. Not a lot of options for vegetarians.

Kavanagh's Pizza: standard fare, tasty pizza, a bit of outdoor seating.

Heritage India: Excellent Indian food--standards and more inventive things. Fancier than all of the other places. Service is known to be snooty.

Shanghai Teahouse: haven't been there, but it has garnered rave reviews from the Washington Post. Tiny, homey.

There's also Town Hall, Kitchen, and Bourbon

I'd recommend Surfside. I love that place! And go at least once a week.

I love Rockland and I am not a big meat eater. Their pulled smoked chicken sandwich is great!

All the recommendations you received so far are great.

We frequent Kavanaughs when we are going out for Pizza. I am not a fan of the other items on the menu

Town Hall is great- and you can bring the kids if you go early they will put you in the back room

I also really like Heritage - food great / service can be iffy

Surfside is another place we enjoy - it is just solid

And we get Rockland to go

ANd make sure you save room for Max's Ice Cream
