Walmart. Maybe Dick's. Macy's might have a few in a corner.

Sports authority or Dicks always has some speedo type swimming suits if you are looking for something for exercising. Anglo Dutch in Bethesda has sports swim suits too. If looking for a fashionable suit, everything but water at Westfield Montgomery Mall in bethesda.

Not sure about "not too expensive" but there is a South Moon Under in Clarendon, the Mosaic District (Merrifield) and Wildwood Center in Bethesda. There's also Sport Fair at 5010 Lee Highway in Arlington.

Sorry, forget South Moon Under. For some reason I thought it specialized in swimsuits. But Sport Fair on Lee Highway most definitely does. They have a new location in Mannasass too.

I would think Nordstrom, for the winter cruise crowd. Also, maybe the lingerie specialty stores. Not VS, the nicer ones.

When I needed to buy my daughter a suit in winter, I could only find suits at sporting goods stores and swim shops. Neither was reasonably priced, but the sporting goods store was better than the swim place.
