When to follow up after interview?

I had an interview about 2 weeks ago and last week I was notified that I was a finalist...haven't heard anything since? Should I follow up? Which would be better..the hiring manager or HR?

If you're going to check in e-mail why not just e-mail both?
But if you were going to contact one directly, I would maybe check in with the hiring manager. As they're usually they are usually the ones more involved in the selection process and knows what's going on. |
