What rug goes with this one?

We have a large, main living area, that I'm trying to make into two separate seating/play areas for our family. We have this rug in 8x10, but there's room for another 8X10 in the other half of the room. Walls are a neutral khaki, and there are minimal furnishings so nothing else it really needs to go with yet, besides this other rug. Any ideas? Thanks!

| what will the new area be in terms of use? Are you using the PB rug for the seating or play area? What furniture do you envision having on it? What is your budget? Do you prefer wool? |

That's a good question. To give some context, we think at one point this large room was a living room & a dining room, and the wall was knocked down at some point making it one large room. The new sitting area will be near the front door where the "living room" probably was originally. (We have a separate dining area now, so this room is all flexible living space.)
The PB rug currently has a sofa and two arm chairs and is bordered by the IKEA kallax, which houses a bunch of toddler toys & books. The new rug will be on the other side of the kallax shelves, which sort of divide the room, but not sure yet what we'll use that area for, as I don't want it to be dead space. I'd like to keep it under $1000, but am open to materials besides wool. |
