Anyone been to Beaches Turks & Caicos?

We have been to T&C 3 times in the last two years and LOVE it. I can honestly say walking down Grace Bay Beach that Beaches is the one place there that I would not stay. It is very overcrowded and looks like an over priced glorified prison. Look into it further and you will see that all accomodations there are condo style. I know that an AI is convenient with kids but it is nice to leave the compound and T&C is so safe there is no reason not to do so. The grocery stores are well stocked so you are able to purchase anything you would need to prepare meals and all the restaurants are child friendly. There are alot of places to rent on VRBO. We stayed in a great condo this year, that I would highly recommend for someone with one young child, if interested post back
