I don't know but I saw a video of her reading that. It was probably about the Madonna thing. I don't know why they couldn't have chosen any number of other people, like Stevie Wonder, Morris Day, 3RDEYEGIRL, Joni Mitchell, Santana, or Sheila E. What matters is who was relevant to Prince. I think they just wanted to pick a household name like Madonna.

Still waiting for the autopsy report. I think it was some kind of organ failure from dehydration. I don't know why he was let out of the hospital the day before his death.

Madonna looks really strange on the Billboard Awards. Not sure why they would choose her to do a tribute. OK, as I'm trying this Stevie Wonder walked out on stage.

The tribute was HORRIBLE from start to finish. I watched the whole show just to see it and it disappointed. I was irked from the get go when Madonna started singing the Sinead cover of Nothing Compares 2 U. I know that's the more well known version, but hello it's supposed to be a Prince tribute and he's got a huge catalog to pick from. Madonnas voice was so shaky and even the great Stevie Womder couldn't save the performance. I'm hoping one of the other award shows does Prince justice, he deserved better.

In an article about the tribute, there were some funny animated GIFs of him making faces in disapproval. People like Madonna are just trying to get 15 more minutes of fame. Trying to imitate him is in poor taste.

They were friends/dating then had a falling out and hated each other for years but reconciled a few years ago.
