No NC teams in first place of any age group.
VRSC will soon have none. They played all the easy teams first

13s and 09s have already won against 2nd place in both age groups. The 13s have a tougher road. Both have to play CISC and CDA again though. The GD on 09s says they are legit. Doesn’t matter come Champions Cup because our division is so weak that VRSC will do poor regardless. I don’t think any team from any age group from our division would do well at Championship Cup.
like i said 13s havent played anyone. SYC should win by multiple goals.

There could be some movement at 2011, both NC teams won which puts CISC top of table.

How does CISC move to the top with a win?

Lowest ranked CISC teams are in 4th (2012, 2007/8).
3rd: 2009
2nd: 2013, 2010
1st: 2015

nothing counts until playoffs, though

Because they earned 6 points over the weekend?

Most of these arguments are mute and coming from clueless parents. As soon as you think you know, the bar gets moved again. Rules changing again next year upsets the apple cart again.

I think they meant 2011 U15, not 2015

I believe you mean "moot" unless you just want don't want any sound? So yeah. "Clueless."

So what are the minority arguments you agree with?

Anonymous wrote:The talent is GA in this area is very questionable. Mainly a mix of ECNL rejects and other RL talent that lacks basic skills. When those combine in a GA team, it is a recipe for disaster.

It will take time for a real GA filter( favoritism free) to start working as plenty of GA players may need to drop to Aspire or equivalent for GA to be able to compete with ECNL. Otherwise, GA is another RL platform.

With the exception of NVA and SYC, 2013 south mid-Atlantic is unwatchable. Several teams would not be competitive in ECNL-RL. I suspect the NVA and SYC teams will stay together, but it's hard to imagine any quality players who got duped into playing for another GA team this year will make the same mistake again.

Will NVA and SYC still be good options for GA next year?

Will depend on what their plans are with the staff. SYC needs an upgrade but highly doubt they will get that.

I think you mean only a few RL teams would be competitive in GA. For example, Alexandria is in 10th place in GA standings. Yet they are still ranked ahead of 15 RL teams in the rankings app.

Nope, having seen Alexandria play several games, I’m telling you that they would be bottom half of ECNL-RL table. And there are at least 3 GA teams (TSJ, LOU, CDA) that are worse than Alexandria.

Always love the parent that thinks they have more knowledge than a mathematical algorithm that predicts the outcome of most games within a goal or two.

That Soccer App system has been fine tuned for almost over ten years now, but DCUM dad is THE youth soccer guru, lol.
