If your roof (that you aren't replacing right away) is light green and your house is painted cream brick that need to be repainted, what color would you repaint it? |
I'm having a hard time imagining this. Can you find a photo similar online and post it?
First reaction though, white. Dark gray shutters. |
Something like this, but doesn't look quite as green when you see the whole house.

I can't find a photo of a brick house with a green roof, but this house has one and is painted white, and looks fantastic IMO:

White or off white. Coral door. |
Definitely white or off-white. Red, maroon, or coral (like PP suggested) door would look nice in my opinion. |
Like this color?:

Same poster here. Click on the pic on the page to make it bigger. |
Bright white, gray shutters, red door |
When I was growing up, my neighbors had a green roof. The house was white with black shutters and a red door. It was lovely. |
Imagine it as a copper roof with a nice patina and then think of your paint color. |
Yep - that's it! OP here - thanks. So universal opinion seems to be white. |
Or get a new roof. |
If you really want a change, I think a light gray might work. Whitewashed brick would be interesting as well. |
No to the coral door. |
