Thea Bowman Public Charter School Open House!

Hello. I am a member of the Board of Trustees for Thea Bowman Preparatory Academy Public Charter School located at 330 21st St NE, near RFK. We are holding an open house on Saturday, April 25th from 10 am to 2 pm. Thea Bowman is a middle school serving grades 5 -7 for the 2009-2010 school year, adding 8th grade the following year. We opened last year with 5th and 6th grade, adding 7th grade next year, and 8th grade the following year. The school is located at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, but it is a DC Public Charter School, not associated with the church. We are a pretty small school and still relatively new, so we are trying hard to get the word out!
