I feel like that SNL skit...

Has anyone seen that SNL skit that was on recently about the pill where you only have your period like once a year, but when you do, man, you are a raging bitch monster?

I feel like that.

Had a baby in December, went back on the pill in February. My periods have been irregular since then. Last one was early March. Just got another one on Tuesday. (I was debating taking a pregnancy test, it was taking so darn long. Pregnant again?! Oh man, nightmare. But then Tuesday settled that issue.)

However, I feel really depressed, angry, sad, tired, and all sorts of hormonal. And I don't feel so nice these days, especially in light of the challenging nature of my toddler and young baby.

I wish I could curl up in a ball and come back when I felt more like myself.

I feel the same way, but I'm not on the pill. I think that a toddler and a baby really stretch the limits of any normal human's patience!

I just went back on the pill for the first time since 2003. I was fine not being on it... until I got pregnant accidentally while using condoms! After that, after my daughter's birth, I decided that it was probably best to go back on the pill! One accident can happen. Two would make me feel like a real irresponsible a-hole.

Man, it's been a rough first month. I got so p*ssed at my daughter's father the other day that I sent him a very cranky text message. To be fair, he was cranky with me first, but what purpose does a cranky text serve? Thank goodness he didn't mention it the next day and I wasn't mad at him anymore so I didn't mention it either. I'm expecting my first pill PMS in the next couple days, which could be interesting.

So I can sympathize. Good luck!

The first few periods after giving birth tend to cause raging PMS - literally, myself and most of my friends decided we wanted a divorce during these times! Your body needs time to regulate your hormones. Just warn your DH!
