Project Lead the Way college credits

Does anyone have knowledge and/or experience with the Project Lead the Way program? My son received a letter stating he is eligible to receive college credit for the course and the exam he took last year.

I would appreciate hearing from someone familiar with the program and especially how the college credit system works.

Really? DD is in a PLTW magnet and they've never mentioned this. What class was it?
