Engaged in 2006. I have one of those rings with a center stone, a halo of tiny stones around it, and some tiny stones going halfway around the band.
Center stone is .75 carats. All of the stones probably total one carat, maybe a bit more. It's the perfect size for me. |

1 ct round center stone, .25 ct pear shape on each side. DH said the 1ct was for me, the extra half ct was for having to deal with his mother
