| I'd like to use this Amazon Prime benefit ("borrow" 1 kindle book per month for two weeks for free), but I can't figure out how to search only the Kindle books that are part of this program (I don't actually use an e-reader, I buy books on the laptop and read them on my phone). Anyone have recommendations for books you've borrowed that you enjoyed? |

I borrow a book every month and also hate the hoops Amazon makes you jump through to search available books.
One thing I do is look for books published by the Amazon imprints, which are almost always available to borrow. like mysteries, so I seek out books published by Amazon's Thomas & Mercer imprint. Sean Chercover, Dave Zeltserman and Tyler Dilts authors that I can recall off the top of my head. Both are in the mystery/thriller genre and may not be everyone's cup of tea. Lawrence Block's The Burglar Who Counted the Spoons is another one I can remember. |
| Thanks for the specific info, very helpful! In frustration, I finally figured out how to use the e-book download feature from my public library. So much easier. I don't understand why Amazon Prime has this feature but makes it difficult to use. If it didn't exist, I wouldn't care. But trying to use it and not being able to made me irritated with AP. |
| Its pretty easy to find the list from a kindle. I wish they had better books in this category though. |
