Financial Aid for Private Schools in DC for families making ~100K

Do families making ~100K have any chance at getting financial aid at private schools iin DC (e.g. Sidwell, Beauvoir, GDS)? If yes, what sort of amount is typical? Does the financial aid package generally take the parent's debt load into account (esp. student loans). I am just curious if we could ever send our daughter to one of these schools. Thanks!

I have a co-worker who makes over $150 and his family qualifies (they have two at the school I think). However, some schools (GDS for one) expects both parents to be working if all kids are in school before they will consider aid. Which I think is fair.

That is very fair. Do you have any idea at all what sort of financial aid package he (or others) gets? Is it 50% of tuition, 10% of tuition, etc.

We got aid about 10% of tuition with family income about where you describe and 1 kid in school, other in part-time preschool.
