I tried to paint a table earlier with Krayon Supermaxx spray paint which on the can says no priming or sanding needed. Right away it started pooling and bubbling on the top of the table. Instead of stopping, like an idiot, I kept spraying to fill the bubbles. Now it's been a few hours but it's thick, uneven and Tacky to the touch. Is there a certain kind of sand paper I can use or will I need to dissolve the paint?
I will never use that paint again. I have never had this happen before. |
It might be easier to strip the paint esp if it is still tacky. |
Strip the paint. |
I'm afraid you're going to have to strip it & start over. You always have to prep, despite what the product says. Preparing your base is 95% of the project. |
