Anyone been? We're debating taking our 3-year-old there. Would we need a stroller?
Thx! |
Yes. It's really fun. You need a stroller for the end park, not the drive thru. You mean the one near Palm Beach, right?
I went last winter break with my mom and 2 kids (ages 7 and 12) and we had a really good time. It is no Disney, but that is probably why I liked it. There is no pressure to have fun. Yet we had tons of fun.
Make sure you go to the bathroom before you begin the drive through Safari. Once you have started, you are on a single lane going only as fast as the cars in front of you. It took us about an hour to drive through with both kids screaming the entire way (ages 1 and 4). Then we parked, walked in to the walking park part (with stroller), and could view animals, have a snack, sit on a bench, feed birds, etc. We really enjoyed it. It's expensive but the website might offer coupons.
Yes, it's great! I grew up going there as a kid and now we take our kids there whenever we visit : ) They recently added a lot of improvements too. I think a stroller could be helpful, but it isn't that large.
Yes definitely fun! Don't need a stroller for the "main attraction" drive, but if you choose to walk through the stuff at the end, then you might want it.
