Any really good designers/remodeler recs?

I moved into a house that is from the 70's. Some of it has been upgraded, but a lot is still original. I want someone with a good sense of design and can not only do the work, but is creative and can think outside the box. Any recommendations?

Perhaps none are that great? Ours was a disappointment for the cost.

Annie Elliott. Bossy Color. Room she designed just feels right. Colors. Furniture combination. It all fits and fits me.

Our was a waste of time and money. Not pleased with the outcome and the cost went over budget by 60%.
The budget was hefty to begin with.
Designers take a huge mark up for ordering items and their designer discount is no different
than buying an item at a furniture store sale.
