Preschool Auction

| The post on what to wear to a gala prompted me to ask this: What do people wear to a preschool auction that is to be held at the school where there was no guidance on the invite? I know some people wear LBDs to their school's auctions, but here there is no indication that the auction in question is that fancy. Unfortunately, I can't ask any other parent because I don't pick-up or drop-off my daughter. Thanks. |

| Our co-op preschool auction had people in jeans all the way up to cocktail attire. Agree that black pants and blouse should fit in just fine. |

| Our school's auction specified "cocktail attire," and the range of attire was quite surprising. Jeans to cocktail dresses. So I guess what I'm saying is, if your school didn't specify the type of dress, I think you'll be fine in anything as long as it's neat and clean. I'd probably go with business-casual. |
