Cleaning valances

| Our new house has some pretty, well-constructed silk valances that are staples to wood boards. They are in desperate need of a good clean, however, and more than just a dusting. Anyone have luck taking them to a dry cleaner (with or without removing the boards)? Any home cleaning tips? |
