planning on quartz counters? how much does pricing vary...deciding if i should do alot of looking around or if it doesn't matter. saw a ceasarstone one i like, imagine it's carried by many vendors. |
Quartz pretty much has price set by manufacturer. You can save money on install by checking out places. But beware since it's an expensive material you don't want it screwed up. |
We started out with silestone in mind and actually went with a quartz by MSI that we found on an Angie's List deal. It looks wonderful and cost half the price. There in an MSI slab showroom near Dulles, so it was helpful to see an entire slab rather than just samples and pictures. I honestly think that the fabricator matters just as much if not more than the manufacturer. |
Measure the square footage you think you'll need. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and check out their prices. Most quartz runs about $50-$80+ per square foot installed but the options and prices vary widely. The prices will probably be higher if you go to a fabricator showroom but you might find better quality and options, too. |
