I'm currently taking rainbow prenatal a and rainbow DHA/fish oil. The prenatal is huge and I hate it. Any suggestions for a smaller one I can buy when I run out of these? I was taking centrum, but I think that had folic acid and someone told me folate is better. Ideas?
I just take the vitamins individually, especially since I need the active folate and b12. so, more to assemble, but easier to swallow.
The Target brand ones are coated and easier to swallow. I'm not sure about the folic acid/folate content.
gummies so you can chew them and supplement with smaller vitamins (iron, folic, etc)
I take mini tablet prenatal. You can buy it from Amazon or other places since I never find them at the retail store. Easy to swallow since its mini size (you take three tablets).
+1 |
I like the Target gummies and have hated pretty much every other prenatal.
i took that rainbow prenatal for a short while -- it was too big. I just switched to a prescription CitraNatal Assure. it's coated and way better, but still on the big side. There's a prescription one called VitaPearl, which was small. (I didn't like it for other reasons.) and for a while I took the gummies, which I hated b/c they were so sweet.
Have you tried the Rainbow Prenatal Petite? I found those easy to swallow.
+1 on the rainbow prenatal petite. I take them at night to help with stomach pain, it doesn't bug me but I couldn't take the regular rainbow prenatal.
I like Vitafol ultra. It is a small gel cap with DHA. They are easy to swallow and do not have a fishy taste.
