Any 11th graders just starting to prep for the old format SAT ?

| My DD prefers the old format SAT based on practice exams she's taken. She wants to sign up for a prep class to sit for the December and January SAT before the new exam is rolled out. I'm curious if anyone else's Junior is doing this or are most kids waiting for the new exam. |

| My DD decided to skip the SAT entirely and go with the ACT instead. She prefers the ACT anyway but this old-new business with the SAT complicates things. She worried that if she took the old SAT in January but didn't like her scores and wanted to take it a second time, she would then have to take the new SAT. |

| It's a shame they changed the SAT. Took out a lot of words that well-educated kids should know. Since my DC is stronger on the verbal side that was going to give him an edge. |
