Please share an awesome resort recommendation that is in a warm climate and chock full of activities

Here is what I am trying to find:

-Resort in a location that will be very warm over Christmas (no geographic preference aside from that)
-Excellent food
-Tons of activities for all age groups. Or I should say, at least tons of kid activities and then the regular resort amenities that will keep adults happy (nice pool(s), spa, etc). We really want to keep the kids engaged all day doing fun things.
-Extra plus if the activities for kids can either be supervised or not - so we can join them for a lot of it but leave them at the kids club for a few hours per day as well (preschool age group)
-Trying to stay to $500/night budget excluding food.

All of the Beaches resorts are sold out. The Breakers in Palm Beach sounds amazing but their cheapest room is $1500/night. Where else do I need to look? I think the main issue that I have found so far with other hotels is a lack of activities.

The problem is your budget. You are asking too much for that budget at that time of year. Possibly a cruise (not Disney on that budget, but maybe RC). If your budget were higher, there are a number of place in the Carrbean that would work.

As an alternative you can consider spending the time together as a family. That is what we do on our vacations and everyone has a good time. Can't the kids be engaged being with you.

We're going the week before Christmas. Cuts the prices of flights and hotels by almost half. Check out the ritz in San Juan.

We can go up a little on the budget. Not to $1500 per night- maybe $700-800 abs max?

We were supposed to go on a cruise but can't because one of the attendees will be past 24th week of pregnancy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, I've been looking for the perfect little gem to submit to Sanctimommy! Go back to baby wearing your 4 year old and spending at least 80% of your time talking about your kids bowel movements
