We are hosting 18 people for Thanksgiving. I am not a cook, but we wanted everyone to come to our place because we just moved to a new house.
Any good catering places that aren't overly expensive? Mostly vegetarian food? |
| Whole Foods had a great catered Thanksgiving meal with vegetarian and vegan options. You have to pick it up. We've been impressed with the food and value. |
| I was going to post about Whole Foods too. |
| OP here. My BIL suggested that as well. Thanks! |
| Whole Foods. |
| The Fresh Market is much better and tastier than Whole Foods. |

Do you live in DC? Wagshal's is an old favorite:
http://www.wagshals.com/ I love it just for drop-in lunch foods, soups and cake, too! |
| Georgia Brown's will provide your dinner. BlackSalt also offers this service. |
Fresh market is not actually all that "fresh" in their prepared foods Dept. Love shopping the rest of the store but they do NOT use good quality ingredients in deli , bakery. Lots of standard additives preservatives just like you see at Safeway or somewhere. Whole foods is definitely better. I've also gotten good catered thanksgiving from dean and deluca, Windows, and society fair . |
| Balduccis has a great thanksgiving too |
| Carmines also does a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner. |
| Wegmans. Even Boston market would be good. |
| Wegmans! |
