How do your kids get exercise on cold weekends if there's no sports they like?

Anonymous
It's our first chilly weekend and I'm already worried about a long cold winter ahead of us. There are no organized sports my kids like and even bike riding takes enormous arm twisting. How do you help your kids stay active during the winter? In 2nd and 3rd grade.
Thanks

Take them to one of the trampoline places?

He does swim lessons and a tae kwon do class.

Dress them warm and go to a playground. It is just cold.

We dressed them warmly and went to Ft Washington for A few hours. We also like to go in hikes all winter long. With the tight clothes, it's fine.

We ski and we hike. When they were younger, they had swimming lessons and we still go to the indoor pool a few times a week but just to mess around.

We have a large playroom in the basement. We put a basketball hoop down there but mostly mine make up their own games that involve running around. It's a large basement.

+1 And the occasional outing to a trampoline park or a lot of walking for DC sightseeing.

I just kick them outside. Same as in the summer.

Dance party.

This is a cold weekend? We're still running around barefoot.

This isn't cold. Although I will admit the wet grass and wet playground equipment is a bummer. Try some fleece-lined jeans.

Arboretum, trying new playgrounds, going ice skating or to the pool, pumpkin patch.

DD takes tap dance. It's actually a pretty intense workout.

Hiking, geocaching, bike rides to get a hot chocolate and then ride home, basketball at the park.

Skate rinks (ice and roller) and trampoline places can be good indoor places when it's too cold for outside.

We spent this afternoon at the swimming pool.
