When does bedroom furniture, bedding, etc go on sale again?

My daughter told me she's like a larger bed for her birthday. She likes a particular bed I bought at Pottery Barn two years ago. I got it for a great deal on Labor Day.

She tells me this about a day or two after this Labor Day. uggh! They still sell it, and I priced it out and compared it to what I paid on Labor Day two years ago and I can't bear it.

She says she'll wait for a sale. I called Pottery Barn but the guy was really not helpful. So…am I waiting for Black Friday, or pre-Christmas? Any tips for me?

You were buying her a new bed two years after getting her a new one? That sounds crazy to me. That mean she also needs a new mattress?

Op here. Sorry if I was unclear. I bought a bed two years ago for DH and me. She likes that bed. She would like a bigger bed than the (admittedly babyish) small bed that she's been in since she was a toddler.
