Tiny Wonders in Adelphi MD

This is a small, no frills establishment that feels a little like an in-home daycare in a rather unfortunate location (off of New Hampshire Avenue, near the intersection with Piney Branch Ave), part of PG County. There is one small, cute playground in the back, but other than that, few to zero places to walk without having to cross NH Ave, which is like a major four or six lane highway. I don't think they take the kids out at all, other than to the playground. That said, they had an infant spot open immediately, and the two infant caregivers currently are loving, warm, and take good care of our boy. They genuinely love him, and he loves them. Most of the staff do not speak English, so knowing Spanish is a plus. We aren't super thrilled with how the place seems to be caring for older children (kids ages 18 months plus), as there seem to be limited activities and toys for the kids, on occasion I've seen the teachers sit the older kids in front of a video, which I generally oppose, and the caregivers definitely seem more removed and uninterested. On the other hand, they had an infant spot open immediately, the director Isabella is always open and flexible to whatever we need, and the full time tuition is incredibly reasonable for this area, which is important for folks living on a tighter budget. Overall, I'd recommend this place for younger children rather than older, and for non-first time parents (who may be a little more relaxed if things aren't absolutely perfect).
