She's currently in a MS that leads to a notorious pressure-cooker HS situation. Wondering if we should consider other options. Thanks.

What about "taking it down a notch" OP. My dd went to Holton and it was a total pressure cooker with little time for fun.
What about something like Bullis or Holy Child? |

| Our DDs are at NCS. There is a fair amount of pressure and I would not recommend it for an anxious kid. Good luck! |
| Our DD goes to Madeira, which has a mix of day and boarding kids. It's not as academically rigorous, as a general matter, as Holton or NCS (though the opportunities are there for a girl who wants to create an equally advanced curriculum for herself). Lots of nice kids and varied interests with varying abilities and skills. We like it. Our DD would not have done well in a pressure cooker HS. |

why would you recommend someone take the pressure down and then say your daughter had 4 years of pressure? |
| We found that Burke worked well for my bright, anxious DS |
Maybe someone else can learn from her daughter's experience. |
| Exactly pp and I said it because OP said her dd was "anxious". Mine was not and it was still a pressure cooker at HA. |
| Washington Waldorf. Lots of opportunity for creative learning. The materials get covered in a way that reduces anxiety. |
| McLean is great for children with anxiety. They offer a lot of supports to manage anxiety but still offer challenging academics. |

| Why not send you DD to a professional who deals with anxiety? Life will be filled with stimuli that provides feelings of discomfort. |
| Will she be at Whitman otherwise? |
