Disney Animal Kingdom -- advice needed

Anonymous
We've been to Animal Kingdom a few times, but there's always a few things we miss, and I'm wondering if we should try to hit them this time around. I love the Lion King show, but have never been to the Nemo one. At 40 minutes long, it's a big chunk of the day -- is it worth it? It won't be super hot out, so I don't think we'll need it just for the a/c. One of my kids is really into birds of prey, so I'm thinking the Flight of Wonder show is a must - anyone think it was a dud? And we've never been up to the Asia Trail section -- it seems like a long walk just to see tigers, which we have at the National Zoo. My kids do like tigers, though, so if this is some incredible opportunity to see lots of tigers in a way we can't at the National Zoo, please clue me in.
Thanks!! I'm trying to do my own "touring plan" and it's really tough to try to fit things in with the show times and the limited FastPass+ pain in the neck.

Nemo - no
Flight of Wonder - yes
Asia Trail - depends on how much time you have. 50/50

LOVED Nemo! Highlight for us

Flights of Wonder is fantastic.

Nemo is OK. Sit farther back in the theater if you go so you can ignore the puppeteers.

The trail depends on how much time you want to spend in the park.

Nemo is a favorite. We see it every time.

Flights of Wonder really great, too.

The tiger trail is a OK, but not a must=see for us.

I remember DH followed a plan laid out by a disney pro on some website. Google and you will find reviews and plans online.

Nemo was great for a mid-afternoon nap for my youngest. As a show, kind of meh. We had more fun doing the Wilderness Explorers program.

Agreed on this one. We, the entire family, snooze off during the Nemo. It was just mid-afternoon, everyone tired from waking up early to hit the park, just finished lunch before, nice AC, above all - show is a bit slow for my taste.

You don't miss much. DVD is better in my opinion.

But flight of wonders, was great!!! Would repeat that!

It's funny, I despise the Nemo show. I went to Disney with my brother, who was in his mid 30s---and he LOVED it! So weird! I think it's really just something that depends on the individual. I would at least try it, if I were you.

Flights of wonder- a must see!
Nemo- I liked it, but it ran a little long. Uncomfortable bench seats, if I remember correctly, but oh so awesome air conditioning...
Asia trail- I thought it was kind of neat. I liked the temple ruins aspect of it. More interesting than going to the zoo.

Loved Flights of Wonder show. I don't have a strong memory of the Nemo show, but is it one of the animated shows that is "personalized" to the audience? If so, we liked it (meaning my 6 and 8 yr olds liked it).

Surprised by the negative consensus on Nemo! I love it and think it's amazingly well done.

+1 on EasyWDW.. one of my favorite Disney resources

Thanks so much! The new fast pass system is really messing with my disney mojo and with any reasonable touring plan. There's very limited times for everything, and it's not particularly convenient when things are on opposite sides of the park. Disney has managed to turn the vacation planning into even more of a PITA than it previously was -- basically unless you are one of the disney obsessed that gets your ADrs exactly 180 days in advance, and your fastpasses exactly 60 days in advance, you're stuck with a lot of inconvenient times for everything. This may be our last Disney...(although I feel like I say that every time!)
