How long do I have to wait?

I just checked in to a hotel and I mentioned to the guy at the desk that I had a rough trip in. He offered to send up a (complimentary) glass of wine. This is very generous but I've been waiting for about an hour and I'm kind of hungry and want to grab a bite to eat before I settle in for the night...how long do I have to hang out in my hotel room??

Uh, just go down and tell the concierge that you're getting a bite to eat now, but would appreciate your wine to be brought up around 9:30-10:00, when you will be back in your room.

I went out and when I came back they had brought a whole bottle and Chocolate covered strawberries and set t on the desk.

And I didn't ask the hotel because it felt weird and entitled: where's that wine you promised??

I wouldn't use this site for that purpose.....because I can think for myself and have friends that know me well enough and will tell it like it is in a way to not be offending.
