Sunglasses recommendations (cheap, but cool...)

Anonymous
I want a new pair of sunglasses so I can look chic at my kids' soccer games at 9am on Saturday mornings

I think I want a pair of the slightly oversized retro ones that are in style right now (they're still "in" right?)

The thing is, I can't really afford to be fashionable. So I need a recommendation for a pair that looks like something a famous person would wear but at Target prices ($20).

Suggestions on where to shop? What to look for? Brands?

Not sure about $20 but great discounts and bargains.

I would get some oversized dark shades (black or tortoise) at Target, Urban Outfitters, or Ann Taylor. May not be 20.00 but likely reasonable. I would prefer the no obivous name to a "lesser name" label, i.e. Oscar de la Renta is worse for shades than just a plain cool black pair that cost you 15.00 and are oversized and chic. You may have some luck at Filenes or Loehmans too.

Outside of Metro Center for $5 per pair.

H&M or Forever 21 -- they have the big sunglasses for like $5.

Got my plain (no name) tortoise shell oversized sunglasses for less than $10 at Target and I think they look pretty chic.

Any of the discount stores like Ross, Marshalls, etc.
Just make sure that you do get glasses with good UV protection--most cheap ones have this and have a sticker telling you so.

Not sure how stylish their selection is, but DH and I have bought good quality sunglasses at campmor.com in the past
