Are they decent?
Any other suggestions? Just want to pick up prepared trays. No servers etc Kids + adults --very casual |
They are good, but expensive. If you have a Costco membership, they have good fruit salads for much, much less. They also have vegetable trays with dip. |
Does Harris Teeter do them?? Or Trader J's? |
Edible Arrangements! It is soo yummy and its fun to look at before it gets devoured. |
Harris Teeter does fruit platters too. |
I got several trays from Wegman's for my baby shower and they did a really nice job. (I got sandwiches, fruit, veggies and cheese.) The fruit platter was not too expensive and it was good quality. If you have a Wegman's reasonably nearby, you can look online, call to order and pick it up easily the morning of your brunch. |
The Magruders on Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase DC has fruit platters pre-made for about 1/2 the price of whole foods, and no need to queue at Costco. Just call ahead and see if they can make one for you. I have purchased very large fruit platters feeding 15+ people for under $30. |
Costco! |
True, but expensive and if you prefer a delivery option you'll have to tack on an additional $12.99 charge. |
as long as it's not on a sunday....
i had many compliments on the fruit salad i got from Chick fil a. colors were beautiful combo - everything crip and fresh. i had a catered party last fall - but had a "kids' table with their nuggets and stouffers mac and cheese.... i put them in different serviving dishes to dress it up and the fruit salad i put on the adults table in a glass bowl. i can't tell you how many adults went for the nuggets and mac and cheese too! |
Not sure where you live but we've hosted several brunches for family/friends and have always gotten trays from Bagel City in Rockville. We've always been happy. The fruit trays were extremely fresh!! |
