Does anyone know what its like to work at Hughes Network Systems in Germantown?

What kind of work are you planning to do there?

I wasn't crazy about it but part of it was due to the person I had to work with and wasn't really used to working in that industry.

The benefits weren't that great and they were always looking to cut costs but that seems to be the norm nowadays.

I never really understood why there were a fair amount of people that was there for ten or more years when I was there.

The work processes were solid and I learned a lot while I was there though. And I have to say they go all out for the holiday parties. I heard it was even better when they used to be owned by Fox. And they have pretty fun activities for take your child to work day.

Probably not a bad place to work if it has something in your industry or if you live in the area. A lot of Germantown and Frederick people worked there. But there were some people in manufacturing who would commute from Virginia to there.

This was all ten years ago. So might not be applicable anymore.

Thanks, it would be a job in the legal division. I live in MoCo off 270, so it would be an amazing commute for me. A lot of people probably stay there for that reason.
