Would you go with stainless steel or overlay?

I have the stainless one. But it really depends on the kitchen design and what the wine fridge will be next to. You don't want to overdo stainless or have a wall of stainless. Or if it's in a pantry area you may not want the stainless breaking up the look. Seems like mostly a design question. |
we have the stainless sub zero in the butler's pantry. it's nice. |
The really high end kitchens are all going away from stainless and back to the overlays.
I opted away from the wine cooler and went with beverage drawers (a little more expensive but way more versatile). Perlick and JennAir make them and I think SubZero might as well. You can still store wine and beer, but they are great for sodas and other beverages as well. I use them way more than I would a wine cooler. |
This is a gross generalization. Stainless is timeless, OP. If you like it, use it. |
