iPhone Monitoring App

Has anyone installed an iPhone monitoring app on their teens phone? My 16 year old DD is going way off track and while this may be an invasion of privacy, I need to monitor and understand what is going on before she gets into real trouble.

There are so many apps. Looking for a recommendation from anyone with recent experience.

Nope. If I tracked DD's texts and which websites she went to, it would be like if my parents listened in on all my phone conversations, read all my notes to and from friends, and looked at every single book I looked at or borrowed at the library.

DD needs a place to bitch about her mother, gossip with friends, explore the world of cursing, etc.

Take the phone away. If your child needs a phone to call you, get a cheap one with no Internet access.

Teensafe - but you need to know her passwords for iTunes, Instagram etc

Take a look at PocketGuardian www.gopocketguardian.com. It monitors SMS, iMessage, some of the more popular messaging apps kids use.

Then you need more than just an app. If your kid is in this much trouble, you've been asleep at the wheel and sound afraid to parent.
